Exhibition “Watercolor Voyage”

Today, an exhibition of watercolor paintings by Anton Yatsyk opened in our gallery.

Anton Romanovych Yatsyk was born on June 20, 1981, in the village of Obertyn, Tlumach district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the family of artist, historian, and local lore researcher Roman Yatsyk. He is an artist, illustrator, and engraver. He works in oil painting, watercolor, and artistic wall painting techniques.

He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Kolomyia Pedagogical College, from which he graduated with honors, and later at the Institute of Culture and Arts of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Faculty of Fine Arts.

He made his first attempts at drawing in primary school under the guidance of Volodymyr Mondryk and his father Roman. During his studies at college and university, he continued developing his artistic skills under the mentorship of V. Andrushko, M. Yasinskyi, M. Bilous, O. Diakiv, B. Hladkyi, M. Kanius, and B. Kuziv.

He has also built his professional career as a designer, engraving artist, and fine arts teacher. He is the author of artistic designs for historical, local history, and children’s literature. The artist’s works are held in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
