Photo Exhibition “4 Elements”

Yesterday, our gallery presented a photo exhibition dedicated to the four elements. The pictures were taken in well-known locations of Ivano-Frankivsk. The exhibition will run until October 22.

Residents and guests of the city can see photographs embodying the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water. To achieve this, the authors Valentyna Burykina and Vasylina Pavliuk selected models who best reflected the essence of each element.

“The girls are styled to represent the four elements. If you look closely, you’ll notice that we carefully chose each model according to her type, so she would match her element,” says Valentyna Burykina.

No less attention was given to the participants’ looks. For the styling, Vasylina Pavliuk considered every detail – from earrings to the curl of the models’ hair.

“Earth is about roots and genetic memory. Air is lightness, feelings, inertia of self-perception. Water is about reflection, calmness, and depth and fire reminds us of who we are – who we truly are,” explains Vasylina Pavliuk.

The four elements – fire, water, air, and earth – come alive in the photographs taken in the heart of our city. It is more than just a photo exhibition. It is a conversation about nature, time, and space, where the world’s energies are combined with history.
