Painting exhibition "Golden Blue"

On Friday, October 18, an exhibition of artworks by the famous Lviv artist and restorer Khrystyna Valko opened in our gallery.

Khrystyna Valko is a teacher of the department of restoration of works of art, an illustrator, a specialist in art therapy in working with children and persons with disabilities. The author participated in many international, all-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions and charity events. She is also a curator of painting projects, collective and all-Ukrainian exhibitions.

As an art therapy specialist and volunteer, Ms. Khrystyna works with sensitive categories of the population. Such interaction with people gives an impulse to rethink important ideas, empathize and, as a result, depict them in one's own creativity.

The author's works depict an emotional impulse due to minimalist forms and a limited color palette. Each work contains very familiar aspects, so that the viewer can feel and understand what he saw in his own way.

The series of works "Golden Blue" is about love for God, for the world and for everything good that is in a person. The title "Golden Blue" hints to the viewer that not all that glitters is gold, and not all is worthless that does not look like gold. The color "golden blue" actually exists in the artistic palette, but is very rare.
