Exhibition of Julia Sovtus "Stacks, trees, mountains, flowers"

Yuliya Sovtus was born on May 28, 1980 in Ivano-Frankivsk. She studied at the Faculty of Arts of V. Stefanyk Precarpathian University. The author firstly took part in an art exhibition in autumn 2004. From December 2004 to January 2005, Ms. Yulia participated in the exhibition of contemporary religious art in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Since March 2005, the author of the exhibition is a member of the youth art formation "Forums" at the Ivano-Frankivsk Art Museum. Her first personal exhibition "Moment of the Soul" took place in July 2007 in Ivano-Frankivsk. In October 2011 she took part in a plein air in Poronin-Zakopane (Poland).

Her works were firstly exhibited at the Art na Mur gallery in 2012 - a personal exhibition "Pastel". In January 2014, Ms. Julia opened her new solo exhibition "Etudes" at the Bastion gallery.

The new exhibition combines the canvases with picturesque corners of nature. Thanks to the author's artistic rethinking, they acquired unusual colors. The visitors stay longer near her paintings to enjoy the unusual details and color combinations.
