Exhibition of Orest Kuziv "Haystacks"

On Sunday, August 2, Orest Kuziv's personal exhibition opened at the Art na Mur gallery. It presents both large canvases and miniatures. The surprise for the guests was the presence of a real mini-haystack, which successfully emphasizes the theme and idea of the event.

According to the author, the idea of the exhibition was born in contrast to the gradual urbanization of mankind. Many people no longer even know what a real haystack looks like. More and more villages are disappearing, there are fewer farm animals and traditional rural life and customs. However, all this has its beauty, positivity and calm, which is so lacking in the life of a stressed city inhabitant.

Orest Kuziv creates in the style of Impressionism. As it is known, the Impressionists do not aim to reflect the reality objectively, they would like to share their feelings with the viewer.

Orest Kuziv first exhibited his works at the Bastion Gallery in 2017 during an exhibition of abstract art. In 2019, his personal exhibition "My Horizon" took place in the Bastion gallery. The author exhibited his works for the first time in 2013 during a joint exhibition with his father Bogdan. The artist also took part in many exhibitions in Kyiv, Mariupol, Sumy, Kropyvnytskyi and, of course, in Ivano-Frankivsk.
