Exhibition of graphics by Dmytro Horin

Yesterday, a small exhibition of graphics by the young Lviv artist Dmytro Horin opened in our gallery. Part of the series "11 metaphors of reality" is presented, which depicts modern Ukrainian reality in an allegorical form.

Dmytro Horin was born in Lviv in a family of artists. Father - Ihor Horin, now a famous artist, worked as an architect, mother created tapestries. Later, Dmytro studied at the Faculty of Architecture, was interested in the history of Lviv. The Horyn family did not always live in Lviv, but no matter where they traveled, the mystical spirit of the city of Lviv was always in their hearts.

The artist Dmytro Horin carefully depicts the world of his own emotions and images born of his imagination on paper. This is how fish appear, which symbolize purification and hope for the salvation of the soul, birds on wheels that cannot fly, the mysterious tree of knowledge of good and evil - a lot of things that can be looked at for a long time. We can be surprised by the variety of allegories born from the artist's imagination. All this encourages reflection and understanding of the surrounding world in which the artist lives.

Dmytro Horin's graphics are intriguing with their laconic and, at the same time, decorativeness and deep meaning, often sarcastic and ironic.

Welcome to the exhibition!
